Board Member

Tyrone Jordan is a graduate and former football player of the University of Michigan. More than ten years ago, Mr. Jordan broke into the insurance industry. He received his Life and Health insurance license and more recently received his Property and Casualty License. Mr. Jordan is currently a Vice President for the largest broker in the world. He specializes in the education industry and has a passion for helping our youth. Mr. Jordan’s professional background paired with his innate passion for helping people is apparent in all of his work. Working tirelessly to find the best solutions for his clients and giving them the best possible client experience; to Mr. Jordan, it’s more than just insurance.

In 2017, he launched his sneaker boutique 360 Soles; a resell company designed to give people a second chance at exclusive shoes. As the business has grown, Mr. Jordan has used the proceeds to partner with community programs in cities throughout the country. Through his program "360 Gives" he has donated 1,000s of shoes to youth, homeless, veterans and low income families.  Tyrone also mentors kids as a part of the “Baker Brotherhood,” in Chicago, IL. This program takes inner city youth, and tries to expose them to things in the world they most likely would never see.

Being born and raised in Flint, MI, he has always understood the privilege that he has and dedicates most of his free time to giving back to communities he loves. Tyrone sits on two non-profit boards and partners with many others through his sneaker company. He knows that the G.E.A.R. experience will help impact youth for the rest of their lives.
