Ed Lesnau
Board Member
Ed Lesnau is a graduate of the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, with a Masters of Business Administration. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University. Mr. Lesnau is an accomplished business advisor of operations strategy in the industrial products sector. He is currently a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers Strategy and has more than 18 years of consulting and industry expertise. He focuses on operational effectiveness, manufacturing & business model optimizations, as well as cost structure improvements.

As a G.E.A.R. board member, Ed is focused on building foundational capabilities that help the organization operate efficiently in order to maximize the value of donations and make as large of an impact as possible. Ed passionately believes the experiences within sports strengthen character and develop work ethic. Through G.E.A.R. Ed strives to enable underprivileged youth to gain these experiences and build a skillset that will benefit them throughout their educational and professional careers.

Ed shares four boys, Edward V, Ethan, Elliott, and Everett with wife Kaelah and lives in metro Detroit. When not helping shuttle kids to practice, Ed enjoys the outdoors, his motorcycle and a nice cup of coffee.
